King Koil Bedding Conference charity event set for May 7

WILLOWBROOK, Ill. – King Koil’s charity event at the Furniture Today Bedding Conference goes on the road for the first time. Bedding conference attendees will be visiting a Tucson Boys and Girls Club on the afternoon of May 7, the same day that the Golf Scramble and registration for the conference are on the agenda.

The bus for the Boys and Girls Club nearby leaves at 3 p.m., and it will return to the hotel before the evening cocktail hour begins.

King Koil CEO David Binke, who first brought a charity event to the Bedding Conference two years ago, said he loves the smiles he sees on the faces of the boys and girls that the events benefit.

“We know the importance of a strong foundation as not only the underpinning of a great night’s sleep but also the basis by which better lives are built,” Binke said. “I hope many Bedding Conference attendees will help us make a difference in the local community at our third annual team-building charity event. This time we are focusing on interacting with children who will benefit from the attention and support that caring adults can provide.”

The afternoon will feature a number of events, including spinning hula hoops, shooting free throws, jumping rope and more.

The kids who will be at the Boys and Girls Club are from Doolen Middle School.

“We’ll be back at the Westin La Paloma Resort in time for networking at the evening cocktail party,” Binke noted. “I promise you that this will be one of the highlights of the Bedding Conference for everyone who attends.”

Seating on the bus is limited. Contact Furniture Today at to reserve a seat on the bus.
