ATLANTA – Artificial intelligence meets smart sleep accessories when Simmons launches its new Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor at retail.
The device is the bedding industry’s first stand-alone solution that monitors a broad range of factors affecting sleep for two individuals simultaneously, officials said. It is a non-invasive system that provides consumers with an in-depth analysis of each user’s sleep “ecosystem” patterns and provides personalized recommendations and expert insights, officials said.
The Sleeptracker sensors are placed underneath the mattress at the head of each side of the bed. They are connected to a processor that is plugged into a regular wall outlet. The processor records details about heart rate, respiration and movement and is thus able to identify sleep cycles that occur throughout the night.

The Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor is compatible with all mattresses and foundations and will retail for $299. The Sleeptracker app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
