HIGH POINT — Wholesale Interiors, a full-line furniture distributor based in the Chicago area, will show at the High Point Market for the first time this fall.
The company has leased a space of about 2,600 square feet in the International Home Furnishings Center, D-845.
Wholesale Interiors founder Chuck Tanner said the company has long considered showing in High Point. He said the company made the decision to come to the market now to "quite simply, expand our distribution. High Point continues to show itself as the preferred show for the buyers we want to see. And the IHFC, being at the center of it, seemed the ideal location for us."
The company, founded in 2002, supplies wholesale and drop-ship furniture to retailers and the design trade. It also distributes commercial, restaurant, hotel and trade show furniture.
Tanner said the company carries around 450 products, most at medium price points. It will showcase 100 to 200 new products in High Point, including six modern/contemporary case goods lines with five-piece bedrooms retailing around $2,000.
The fall High Point Market opens Oct. 16.
