MOGADISHU, Somalia — Ashley licensee Three K Company held a grand opening and ribbon cutting for its first Ashley showroom, also the first Ashley store in Somalia in early May.

The new store showcases Ashley’s 7.0 store concept, a well-defined layout, organizing the space and providing clear style distinction for simplified shopping. Customers can explore complete styles and looks with detailed lighting, rugs and wall art. Product offerings include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Customers can also experience Ashley’s new bedding gallery featuring Ashley Sleep and Nectar mattresses.
Distinguished guests, including Omar Ali, deputy minister of defense; Gamal Mohamed Hassan, minister of commerce and industry; Ali Fahle, district leader of the Hodan District; Adan Abdullahi, senior manager of Shuraako Capital; Mark Marais, vice president of Africa and UK for Ashley; and Reshma Maru, international marketing specialist for Eastern Africa, joined Three K Company employees in celebrating the store’s opening.
